Mega Man: Fully Loaded, is a hack of Mega Man II. It is currently a work-in-progress. First, here is the story/gameplay info:
One day, in the peaceful city, lots of reploids suddenly go maverick, and start destroying the city. The reploids unaffected are running for their lives. One of the reploids, a teenage boy, falls into the underground sewer, and thus, his journey begins...
You play as Dash, the young teenage reploid. The game has an intro stage, which is the underground sewer that Dash fell in. You start out with literally nothing in your arsenal. There is no Mega Buster, because he has none built in him. He is just a normal reploid. This means, you have no attacks. You can't attack any enemies, and thus must dodge them until you stumble upon a DNA chip. Once you aquire this, you can transform into a Mega Man, and back, at any time, with the Select button. When you are a Mega Man, you can fire your gun (not M. Buster), but it uses ammo. You can fire 8 shots at a time. You can easily reload your gun by pressing Up on the d-pad, or by switching back to normal, and back to a Mega Man again.
This game takes place after Mega Man ZX Advent. Once Dash aquires the power of Mega Man, his journey truly begins, as he battles the mavericks, and finds out what is causing their transformations.

The Intro Stage - The Underground Sewer
That is the DNA chip.
Dash is currently a Mega Man (the graphics swap code hasn't been added yet). The meter on the right is the Ammo Meter. Your gun holds 8 bullets.

All of the code for the main engine is done. I still have to add bits and pieces elsewhere, but right now, the engine works the way it should. The last major part I have to do is to swap the graphics of Dash for when he is a Mega Man.
The game will include 3 Super Mario Bros. levels, 1 Zelda II level, and the rest of the levels will be completely new. So, this game will have a mix of new levels, and nostalgic ones. Combined with the new game engine, and new music, should come out to be one fun hack!
I added something that MMZX didn't have, the ammo system. It's nothing too big, you can still fire all you want, you just have to reload every 8 shots. I added it because I thought it was cool. The first teaser trailer will be coming soon, once I finished coding the graphics swap.

Also, later on in the game, when you get to Wily's castle (will be a different villain), you may lose the DNA chip, and you will have to go un-armed for a while, until you find a new chip.
