The usual patching methods won't work for DS and PS2 games. You'll need to use a diff patcher of some such, like xdelta.

thought i might have to use xdelta see it thou no idea how to use i lol i google it latter did noticed that after searching through the utilities there no ds ,ps2 Graphics Editors and when u place ds files in tile pro or Tile Molester no matter what codec or for me anyway will it make so i guessing that i can't do anything with the nftr font files haven't looked at ps2 yet but is there a program like ds top station or Tahaxan as haven't looked at ps2 yet gonna get the hang of the ds first as it easier to test on  i guessing i gonna have to do trial and error to get the right using  tables as it looks like i have to do it that way did read a bit on how to make em i understand how to do it but there all for snes and older console's i guessing the same principle will work but not sore if i need to open the arc file or just use a hex editor also feel like i missing somthing important what i read i guess i need to make a table and work from there makeing the table for a snes looks easy thou for ds i not able to figure it out if there is a guide on how others translated a game i like to read that and see what i doing wronge or not doing as yes the things i read are great but leaves out to much in my opion or maybe i not reading it right as i want to learn this no matter what i hope someone will have to time to explain to me what i need in programs and a basic what to do as to me these other old guide don't seem to be usefull in helping me anyway i still gona muck around with it if someone helps me out wicked in not i just have to keep trying

You better start off simple. You want to do an advanced hack when you're a beginner. I suggest hacking some snes/nes/gba games first.

Also, why wasn't this moved before? Bad moderators, bad. No dog cookie for you!

*sigh*

When I said start off simple, I meant doing some complete hacks for SNES/GBA/NES games. The DS doesn't have many hacking utilities yet, and things are done much differently. Until you're on a more advanced level, it'd be best to avoid it.

Also, please use proper english...

How do people not notice that absolutly no punctuation makes posts an ordeal to read?

1st grade English, people.  Periods come at the end of a sentence.  Seperate thoughts into paragraphs.  I'm not a grammar nazi, but this stuff really makes your post tolerable to read.  As it stands now I couldn't even read any of your posts.

I give up.

Edit: You know what? I'm gonna lock this topic. I feel it will lead to flame wars if I don't.
