Hey! Wow, thanks! I'm sure using that information I can figure it out! Great memory (even though I'm sure that's partly due to the fact that you made the game!)! On a side note, are you working on anything currently? I can understand becoming uninterested in ROM hacking after awhile. I have 2 or 3 that I'm working on but haven't touched any of them in about a month, but I know I'll get back to them eventually. Well, anyways, thanks again for your help and your awesome hacks!

You know, if Final Fantasy had been a PC game, you could have paid a flat rate to use the game's "engine" and modify it to your heart's content (as you have done), and you would've been allowed to legally release this as a commercial game.

If he wanted to, he could make his own engine for PC. Then he'd be able to legally release it as a commercial game without paying any royalties (he would have to split the money with Thaddeus, of course).

Still, the fact that it's a rom hack and not a PC game just makes it a thousand times more awesome, IMO.

I'm barely working on a CV2 hack, but I'm really having problems staying motivated.

I never had any aspirations of making money off my hacks. DXOII was an attempt to see how far we could push a non-trans ROM hack regarding scope of changes and quality, and I think we set a pretty high bar with it. That alone was satisfaction enough.

*edit* I have been kicking around the idea of merging DXO and DXOII into a single game for the PC, with far more story development and such. But I think that'll remain a pipe dream.

Whoa. You know what's funny? I just beat the game about 4 hours ago and the only thing I really read on the list you made earlier was the part about the switch on the wall which makes a bridge. I did that and then beat the game. Then I read the rest of your list and realized that I've never done almost all of the stuff you wrote on there! Oh well, I can always play it again! I was at level 37 or 38 when I beat it. And I never found the last two PSI's either!

It's all optional subquest stuff that can be done at any time (Well, at least at the point in the game where you are), so you don't have to restart your game or anything. You'll just have to do a bunch of backtracking.

For the Level 7 and 8 PSIs, you need the Nanite upgrade. The Nanite itself is located in the Armory: There's a patch of dark blue stuff on the ground at the northern part of the map: Search it. Now take it back to the Sleg Mine (Where you activated the Railjet) and give it to one of the robots, which will create non-Neverborn-tainted nanomachines and implant them into Sargon's body.

The Level 7 PSIs are in Sansia, while Level 8 are located in the Uris Desert. Near the beginning of it, there's a lone grove of palm trees in front of a cliff face: Search it and a cave is revealed, where the last PSI trainer is located.

Awesome. Yeah, I'll just start from where I last saved it and check out all the other stuff. I had the level 7 PSI but not 8. But, yeah, that's cool that you hid so much stuff in there. I like that! Thanks again and hopefully (for me anyways) you'll find some inspiration to hack again!
