Youji and I have been messing with the idea of putting icons in the equipment menu instead of spelling out "Head", "Body", etc.

He's done a really good job thus far. The helmet, armor, and amulet look great. But he's having difficulties getting the others to look good because of the graphical restrictions. The icons can only be 16x16 big, and in 1bpp format.

So I figured I'd see if anyone here wants to give it a shot. I'll post Youji's icons in the screenshot I made:



The icons that need redoing are the glove/gauntlet, shoe/boot, ring (that circle? That's supposed to be a ring. Hard to do much more with it, but let's see someone out-do it), and shield could all use makeovers. The shield isn't horrible, but isn't nearly as good as the other three.

Any help is greatly appreciated. ^_^

I've actually gotten a response via email, and I'm working to get his icons to fit into the format; I'll be testing them in the game later today.

But don't let that stop you guys from posting other icons. I'll put together a mish-mash of all the best ones, and you'll all get credit in the readme/my website for your contribution. ^_^
