Hello to all
I am trying to translate into the Spanish language the second part of the wonderful saga,WILD ARMS,  but I meet a problem and it is not other one that, in my language, exist characters that not you have in English.

The question is, if someone could to help myself to finding the source in the game to be able to introduce these characters. I have tried everything and do not manage to see the source, not as file of the type .TIM not as .RAW ...... I need your help please... I used the programs, TIMRIp, TIMVIWER & Tilemolester without results....

Thank you

You'll probably have to draw 'em for yourself or paste from some existing fonts instead of some English letters. Look through the Documents section in this place. It's a pretty vast problem to explain.

Translating a script dump is the relatively easier part. Inserting it will be more difficult, there isn't much for PS1 hacking documents yet.

I think what faloppa wants help with is inserting characters like ‘¿’ ‘ñ’ into the font, not inserting a script or drawing the characters themselves. He can’t find where the font is.

Before nothing, thanks to all for the answers...

Only that exists a problem, that is to say, according to the information of the great Kitsume (you are a legend friend), the dumped of the source is corresponding to the first WILD ARM And, in this case, I don't understand the system of the extraction source....

The cuestios is, if it's not great to ask, that saying to me since the source is extracted and especially, if also this one in the file WILDARMS.EXE That exists, I suppose that it must be like that, since comparing 2 games, they have the same internal structure of files.....

I hope that you could help me friends and again thanks to all for your support, help and comprehension

Farewell

Sorry, but the question isn't really clear, hence why you got no answer. Could you reformulate the question without using Google/Babelfish/wheveter automatic translator?

I am sorry, my intention was to say that I return to extract afloat the topic to see if someone can help me

I am in a point in which my this totally stopped translation and it's alone for the fact of not finding the source of the game, in this case, of the second part of the Wild Arms saga

thanks a lot

He meant if someone happens to know where the dialog font in Wild Arms 2 is located, since he can't find it anywhere.

May I ask how you found that? Although WA2 is not one of my projects, I know I'll regret if I don't ask. Smiley

Thanks magusneo

in fact, 2 questions arise with regard to this....

Since I can unpack the lzss?
Since I can return to insert the source once changed?

thanks a lot friend!
