Alright well basically, i want to translate a game called Chantelise from japanese to english. But i don't have any programming experience and i really like this game, it's the only game i've gone this far and actually posted a message in any kind of forum to ask for help. If anyone is willing to give me some pointers, point me out to a tutorial or show link me to some resources it would be really appreciated. The translation itself isn't really a big problem right now i just need to beable to have access to the files so i can start to edit it. I'm a fast learner so don't feel you need to simplify things a lot for me. Any help would be great, Thanks everyone. 

Ahh sorry about that, it's a PC game

Hmm it's like Ys if you've heard of it. Like Action/RPG or a Hack and Slash RPG basically like Ys Except the world/background is 3D and your character is kinda 2D aswell as the enemies though they kinda look a little 3Dish.
