A half an hour to beat one monster?  Sounds pretty intense to me! Tongue

Well, after playing a bit of that FFVII chinese ROM, playing this version would make me drool. I'm gonna look around that link for more pics before hitting the bed...

Wow!! "Chrono Tigger'"would be an awesome concept for a game. Tigger finds out one day that he can bounce so fast he travels through time! TTFN 2008! *tigger laugh*.  Cheesy

Looks like somebody tried to link to a Chrono Trigger ROM, but instead linked to the pirate Zelda I mentioned in an earlier thread.
I played it for about 30 seconds to realize it's (probably a turn-based) Minish Cap port.

A Minish Cap port? Interesting...I wonder where I could find it.

I have a hard time getting excited about these pirate ports because the ones I've tried (which is several, due to my adventures in emudev) all sucked, really, really, really bad.  Like they're so bad they're not even playable.

Seriously... have you guys tried the SMW pirate?  Or Tekken 2?  Or any of those fighting game ports?  They're total ass.  The RPGs I've seen are none better.

The SMW pirate is half decent (the one I played, anyway).  I agree with your general sentiment, though.

I'd say these hacks have novelty value for being on the NES. I like to look at them for a few minutes. However, typically the game play and game content is extremely poor compared to the real version. I haven't played this one, but I have played the MK pirate cart and the SMW one for example.

Reminds me of a slightly offensive image involving Chrono Trigger and Flavor Flav.

What I found interesting is that there is no ROM available for download, which leads the skeptic in me to believe that there really is no port, just a bunch of faked screenshots and stories about how X number of pirate porters have been working on this game for Y months and have made Z progress, etc., etc., etc.
