I was looking through the Acmlm archives, and I stumbled upon a thread of someone by the name of Jaz. He was working on a Dragon Warrior hack that was gonna have Lolo in the game. Too bad this hack died a silent death, it was looking really good. Well, heres the last screens that were posted...







This woulda been cool to see finished, I know people woulda enjoyed playing it. Maybe someone'll get inspired to make a hack like this someday... ^^'

Is it supposed to be significantly different than Dragon Warrior? If not, I don't see how this is any different than the over 9,000 Super Mario Bros. hacks featuring different main characters.

The title screen looks kinda nice, though.

EDIT: Didn't notice the rest of the graphics were improved. I might give that one a shot then... after I finish Dragon Warrior, that is.

It could of been cute. Best if there was a few asm hacks applied to make it more lolo like.

I never got into the original game myself, but I do love Sliver X's hack, I'm gonna have to get into playing some DW in the morning etc.

I'm gonna see if I can make a DW hack with the Lolo twist, I looked into the ROM today and it looks like it'll be easy to pull off. When I brought back SMBC from the dead, people e-mailed me giving me positive feedback. So I'll be playing through the game to get that DW feel.

Here's to hoping...  :beer:  :crazy:
