I highly doubt anyone here can help me with this, but here goes...

Back in 2001 or 2002, I made a hack of NES Metroid with Mededit called "Metroid Hardtype" (I know, not very creative) trying to make just the action parts of the game generally harder.  While it was hardly complete (I had Brininstar and Norfair done) I did submit it to a couple of sites.  (Also, back then I used some variation of "Someone150" probably as my handle.)  Google's no help... I do remember submitting it to Zophar's domain though (it isn't listed there.)

I know it's very highly unlikely that anyone might know where I could find this, but I no longer have the patch or modified ROM as I've gotten two new computers since then.  Thanks for taking the time to read this and possibly help out!

Edit:  Apparently, this is the wrong forum for this... although I'm not really sure where it would go.  Can it be moved?
Edit again: Wow, it just kind of got moved and I didn't get a warning for posting in the wrong forum or anything.

I didn't hit the scene until 2003, but yeah I've been snooping on major ROM sites and no dice, and I'm pretty decent in finding lost roms. If I bump into it I'll give you a holla.

For what it's worth, the hack only left my computer as an IPS.  But yeah, the reason I asked here is that I have no idea how else to search for it and thought maybe someone who knows where to look better than I would have ideas.

If it hit the internet, it's probably in Cowering's GoodCrap set. Or it'll make it there one day.

I checked and (unless my check-fu is down) either Cowering didn’t get his hands on it, or didn’t bother to check the name. The former is more likely.

I've heard of GoodTools but I'm not that familiar with it... anyway, with Google I found what seems to be a semi-recent GoodNES list (October 2006, 3.1 I think) and can't find anything that could possibly be my hack unless the name was totally botched.

I didn't change the title screen though... which makes me think it might have been mistaken as a bad dump or something?
