Hi,

Does anyone what Game Genie code will change the Star Man music (in Super Mario Bros. for the NES) to the arrangement of instruments that is used for the water theme? Watch at 1:00 and 1:55.

I know the ININIT code is the overworld theme for all the time, in different arrangements for all the non-overworld stages (except for the Sky Bonus level).

It was started in Coding/Programming.  Mods moved it.

As I said before, who knows how the Star Man music got changed into the "water music" arrangement? Will any Game Genie code give me this variation? Watch at 0:59 and 1:56.

one way to do it would be to change 0x797b from

08 52 fd a0 70 68

to

20 b8 f9 2a 1a 40

not gonna be able to do it witha real game genie though since it's too many codes


btw SMB uses the same "instruments" the whole time.. the only difference you hear is the envelope has been modified
