Hello, Mr. Smith ヽ(´ー`)ノ

Filena has been nearly done for a while, and I've basically been obsessively going over the script while waiting and hoping for help with some technical issues. I decided that I'm just going to make a release with the current stage of hacking completed. Then I can get it off my mind, and also spend less time obsessively running through the script and work on other things.
So, I'm going to need some testers to run through the game to make sure that there aren't any embarassing text bugs, that everything makes sense and also that the game is actually playable from start to finish. (It should be.) Over the next week, I'm going to carry out a couple of really quick and dirrrty (yeah) fixes that I was hoping I wouldn't have to do (related to text that's sort of floating around in the ROM), and then I'd like to carry out testing, fix the bugs and release version 0.9whatever.

I think ideally, around three testers would do. The only requirements are to be good at English and to have say, 10 or so hours to spare to play the game from start to finish. It'd also be nice if you're familiar with British English standards, but you don't have to be.
It'd be really great if you could help out, and I'd really appreciate your help. I can't really offer much in return except for putting your name in the readme, but on the bright side, that's about all I'm going to get out of this translation myself. Cheesy

If you're interested, just post a reply here and we can organise things from there.

Ten hours? That's it?

That sounds PERFECT. I volunteer!
(And yes, I'm going to contact you, it's just been arse of a week what with work and all -_-)

Besides, I was one of the ones who helped you with the game back when you first started making decent progress, remember? Smiley

I'll help out  Roll Eyes, if you don't mind.
I've got plenty of time to spare, since I've got no school, and can't find a job  Undecided\.

Should be around that long, yeah. Assuming you cheat so that you don't have to worry about HP/TP and make good use of fast forward when necessary. Smiley

Also, great that I have a couple of volunteers already! That's quite an encouraging start. I'm aiming to start the test after next weekend.

Wow, I'm glad to see this game getting finished up.  I'll volunteer as a tester, if you need a third.

Our big project at my job is done and so I'm done with overtime.  Gives me like 5 extra hours a night now.  If you need someone else, I'm offering my help.

Ditto. I've got plenty of free time, and a 10 hour RPG shouldn't be too bad to fill up some of my boredom. ^_^

Well, this certainly is a better response than expected. Okay, we'll call it the five of you. I think any more will make things too complicated and will end up in too many duplicate bugs. Anyway, thank you very much for volunteering to help, I appreciate it! Please register here http://sa-two.yuudachi.net/bbs/index.php and I'll set up you up to view the beta boards so I can get the ball rolling by getting things organised. I'll try and get some useful stuff together like cheats for full EXP in the run up to testing and post them there.

Hey, I didn't know this game was being translated!
That's great news!
So... how is the testing coming along, guys?
(We will be able to play soon? ^_^)

By the way, when you say 10 hours, it's using the cheats to rush through the game? I mean, the game itself, when played normally is longer... right?

Looking good!  May I make a small suggestion...?  You may want to change one of those commas to a period/semi colon.  Sorry to point out such a small punctuation error.  Looks fantastic though!  Can't wait to play it!  I'm going to need some testers soon too for my current project...  God knows I'll get my share of grammar complaints Tongue

Awwww, bongo` didn't help you with those last bits? Really sorry that I couldn't be of assistance there ...

Come on ROM hackers, can an SNES ASM guru step up and help satsu finish, please? Gideon, Nightcrawler? :)
