has anyone played this?  it looks like just a level hack, but it is really hard and alot of fun.  i couldnt find much info on it on the internet, just wondering what the deal is on it.

Generally speaking, most ROM hacks have very little history. The number of projects versus the number of "I AM BORED SO I SHALL DOWNLOAD A LEVEL EDITING PROGRAM FOR MARIO THREEEEEHEHEHEHEHE!" is painfully tipped in 'bored's favor. Most ROMhacks, a short google search will provide you with a user page. I found no such page under Odd Mario Bros 3 or Odd Mario Bros 3 rom hack.

I would say... that more than likely, it was one or two people who did it over a short period of time and posted it. Unless anyone else knows anything.

Odd Mario Bros. 3 was the old name of the ROM Hack called "Mario Chronicles" Ringodoggie is the author who did the hack. OMB3 was just a level hack, while MC is a level hack with some enemy changes and AsM changes in the final cut. That's pretty much it from what I remember...  Shocked
