The problem in that, from what I've gathered, is that Kirby is an extremely well (or perhaps so bad it's good) coded game. Much of it is compressed or compounded, and to edit very little could destroy the very living lay lines of the Cosmos.
More over, I don't think anyone has ever been interested in it. It's a great game, and there is very little to do with it. Not to mention, editing the world map you likely give you a hernia.
