Um, I'm new and I made two Metroid hacks... but when I try to submit them it asks for URL. I don't know what to do there. :'( How do I submit?

Email them to kiyoshi.aman@gmail.com and I will upload them temporarily to my webspace and pass you the URLs.

(I'm tempted to turn this into a service...

Y'know, when I offered, I figured maybe it'd be a couple of IPS patches and not actual ROMs. Please learn how to use LunarIPS and write a readme for each hack detailing what is special about the hack in question, and archive the patches individually with their readmes.

Did you not bother to click the help icon?

Help on 'Filename' field.

This field is for a URL(web link) to the file you have for this entry. It is preferred that your file is stored in a compressed archive format. ZIP is the most common, RAR and 7ZIP are also common alternatives. RHDN's submission form cannot retrieve files from your computer, you MUST upload them somewhere else first. URLs to the files must be a direct link, meaning when that URL is entered in a browser, a download should start. URLs to sites such as Rapidshare/Megaupload are not acceptable and these submissions will be rejected outright. Additional Help on File Submissions along with recommended places to upload your files for the submission can be found HERE.

Maybe Nightcrawler could add Hostfile.org to that list of sites to upload files. For people who simply want to send files for submission, it's pretty good.

Googlepages gives you 100MB of webspace for free. You could always try that.
