That's my hex editor of choice. But lately, I've been getting back into messing with some Japanese games. Before I think I was able to view them, but now, I can't see any Japanese characters anywhere within the editor. I've made a table with the correct letters--everything else on my computer can view Japanese just fine. It's just I can't get the editor to work with the language. Any suggestions?

Options -> View text as Unicode

Also, make sure you change the font to one that has Japanese characters. If you don't have one on your computer already they're easy enough to find online.

The thing that pisses me off about Square-Enix is that even though it's a foregone conclusion that we'll be getting FFIV and DQIV DS, we're not going to know when for another 6-8 months. -_-;
