I fixed the status screen in AlanMidas' translation.
Addendum patchIf anybody wants a technical description:
The status screen is actually loaded into the second nametable when the game boots, and it stays there. Except for some reason, it is cleared out when a battle begins, and is reloaded as you exit the battle screen.
The game reloads the text using untranslated strings (that weren't easily found without ASM).
I found that for some reason Technos chose to store these "vertically" in the ROM. ("Wanryoku" stored in the ROM at offsets $B066, $B076, $B086, etc.)
