Hello Rom hacking community. I'm new around here and thought that I might as well try to make an impact on my first day. How will I do that? Read on.
A long time ago, there was a site wholly devoted to wrestling games. One noteworthy site was called Wrestling Player. It was pretty popular for its time namely because it hosted quite a number of wrestling games both easy and hard to find. Though I'm sure you're going to say that it's probably not right for me to directly link to ROM sites given the policy around here, the site also hosted another kind of commodity.
It should be noted that a majority of wrestling games never made it to the states, but were only released in their native country of japan. So, as a result, a few people decided to go so far as to translate a few of those many games.
In the years that followed, many IPS patches were released for such games as Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium, Jikkiyo Power Pro Wrestling 96 and Hybrid Wrestler. Though out of all the translated games, only two games can be said to have been 100% translated: Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium (When patches are used on game patched with Sydra's translation) and Super Fire Pro Wrestling Queen's Special.
In addition to providing IPS patches to translate games, there were quite a number of FAQs providing translations for games that lacked translation patches.
Long story short: the site eventually died, taking with it treasures that are not only hard to find, but also unknown to the game translation scene.
Using archive.org, I have provided links to the site itself and to a site that was devoted to translating wrestling games. Many of the downloads however don't work, but many of the patches can be downloaded from the archive Wrestling Player pages.

For those of you who simply want to go directly to the pages on Wrestling Player containing translation related material, here are the links.

EDIT - Oh, and before I forget, I'll be posting up a little something called SFhack utility later on. SFhack is not only a utility kit made for patching Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium, it contains quite a number of IPS patches that translate or modify the game. Modifications include the ability to enable moves removed from the final version of the game, fix various bugs and swap the costumes of certain premade wrestlers with alternate suits originally made for them.
This is a pretty hard package to find and impossible to download from Archive.org due to robots (not actual robots mind you, it's a technical term.)
