hey all.

are there any RLE-compressed graphics decompression tools for the GBA? GBADecmp doesn't seem to work. i also have a program lying around on my hard drive, but that doesn't work right all the time (in this case, it doesn't work).

If GBADecmp cant decompress it you may have the offsets wrong, as it uses the decompression code from gba so it should be accurate.

er, i should clarify, it doesn't run. it gives an error involving "comdlg32.ocx" and exits. i have windows vista, btw.

Do you have the visual basic runtime files? i'm not sure if they even work on vista if they dont i could make a simple command line interface for GBADecmp if you want.

Get the OCX from the web.

If Vista doesn't like it then try Virtual PC or a similar program.

oh, are you the author of the program? if you could do that (with relatively little effort), that'd be great, yeah. thanks!

and yep, seems to be incompatible with vista.

I'm not the author but i do have the source code for the program, not sure if i'm allowed to release it though as i haven't had any contact with the author for many years now. I'll take a look at making a simple command line interface for it but no promises.
