I played most of the MM2 hacks on the entire week on my emulator and watching most of them on YouTube. It's my random poll so which Megaman or Rockman 2 hack is the best you ever played.

This really is more general discussion or gaming discussion, I think...
Er. I liked Rockman Exile the best.

Thank you for answering the question at hand. Yes, the original Mega Man 2 (Rockman2) was the best. It's the original. It happens. What is the best Hack.

I voted for MegaMan Ultra, once you pick up and play that MM2 hack it's a wrap. I can't stop playing it.

Well, the best MM2 hack I ever played is?
1] Megaman Ultra
Nice music for most of the levels , nice palette, and it's worth a challenge. Especially the final boss.
2] Rockman Exhaust
Has good music and I love the forth Wily Boss. Again, it's a challenge especially Flash Man's level. However, I got frustrated sometimes in the 4th level itself.
3]Megaman 2 Revenge of the 8 Robot Masters.
I love the Wily levels and most level palettes are good.
However in most cases Megaman NEO is the only one that suck the ENTIRE time. The gameplay was so unfair but makes way too much time more playable.
Worst level designs for Megadan 2. I don't find it interesting though.

Of course they are NES. Most of them are found on this site except Rockman Exhaust. I don't know why no one submitted Rockman Exhaust yet tothis site yet. I guess I have to. And so is Megaman NEO.

Exile, Exhaust and Ultra are the best MM2 hacks out of any MM2 type of hack reguardless in my opinion. ...I've played TONS of mm1 and 2 hacks, and not very many are that impressive except those 3 in particular.

In no particular order, Megaman Ultra, Rockman EXILE, and Rockman EXHAUST. Rockman 2 DASH/DASH+ is pretty good too, and it seems that barely anyone knows about it. It's pretty good though.

I had no idea what is Rockman 2 DASH/DASH+ but I hope he is not referring to the Japanese Megaman Legends game. I think Megaman Ultra is one of the best rom hacks ever, let alone Mega Man hack... ...but I voted for other (Gratuitous plug) That's not a Rockman/Megaman 2 hack but oh well, I did play your hack yesterday because I was bored. But there can be always be 1 best Rockman 1 hack which is Rockman RX. Good level designs and redesigned graphics. Your hack however, is always a very good hack to me. Only 2 Rockman1 hacks I played are superior to others. Even Byte's Adventure is not my favorite MM1 Hack.

I never heard'a that one before, you wouldn't mind hooking us up with a link, Pwetty pwease? :cookie: I know exactly where it is. http://pikopikokun.hp.infoseek.co.jp/kakobutsu.htmlA japanese rom hacker did rockman 2 dash. it's pretty cool, but still does not compare to megaman ultra, exile, and exhaust though. This one is more based on clever level design where you gotta really hurry up in order to advance to the next screen and stuff mostly in the wily levels...hence the name "dash" ..at least i think. I visit this site fairly occasionally posting messages in japanese to try communicating with some other japanese rom hackers on the message board on the site (i gotta use website translators though since i dont know jap whatsoever)

Thanks Kuja Killer, you're the man! All I gotta is patch up test 5 and test 6 but I'll do that tomorrow when I come back from NJ. The other hacks are pretty sweet, I used Google Translate when I used to talk to japanese SMB Hackers, those guys are pretty cool. Thanks again for the link, it'll help motivate me to work on that MM1 hack.
