I'm guessing I'm not the only one who likes to keep a list of interesting offsets I've found whilst hex editing but I'm wondering what you guys do with yours?

Right now I have about 4 different notepad files stored in a folder with each ROM (I like to keep things tidy in individual folders) which I use to keep track of what I've found out and what I'm in the middle of looking at. Most of them are just to do with savestates since that seems to be the easiest to edit to instant effect but there is a couple of ROM entries as well.

Is there any sort of database with this sort of info? I found some on GamesFAQ but it's sporadic at best (ie some games have mountains of info some have none.)

The main offset list I keep is of RAM. For Super Metroid, I have quite a bit of the RAM outlined, so that whenever I look at some code I can swiftly translate the RAM addresses to what they mean.
Aside from that, I have a smallish list of routines called. I don't update that one as much though.
I only have a few major tables outlined.

If you want to make sure that the info you found isn't lost to the sands of time, you can always put it up on the Data Crystal

It's still slowly growing, although the main page hasn't been updated in forever.
