Topic: Trying to change which world is first in SMB3 (Read 265 times)

Hi, I was working on a level hack for smb3 like a year ago, and I had figured out how to make the game automatically start off at world 3, since that was the world I was working on at the time. Now it's a year later and I completely forget how to undo this so I can go back and play the levels I finished. Can anyone help me out?

p'raps it's easier for me to save every level as an m3l and tranfer them to a "clean" rom

You could also compare the ROM to an original, and look for any small changes, particularly those changing bytes from 00 to 02 or 01 to 03.
