I am not sure if this is where this sort of topic goes and if not, forgive me and move it if you must.   

I am having trouble with the Easier 7th Saga patch located here:

It patches fine and seems to be working OK until I finish a battle.. all the exps and stuff looks garbled than it freezes and keeps looping the scrambled text. Here is a screenshot of what I mean.



I am using the latest ZSNES and I have tried it by patching the rom directly and then by letting ZSNES auto load the patch. I also tried using a few different characters. Anyone else tried this patch out and had a similar problem? I hope the guy who made this patch sees this and fixes it if it isn't something I am doing.

I was going to ask why you can't just read the readme to know what your ROM needs to be. Then I saw it has none in the archive. Why do patch authors insist on releasing work with absolutely no information/readme? That bothers me.
