Topic: Need a suggestion for a font. (Read 270 times)

Specifically, I need a Japanese-looking font. 8x16 VWF and thin, ideally. I've got quite a few, but none seem to meet my exact needs, and I'd like some suggestions.

Can you give us an example of what you'd be using this font on? Having some context can tend to help when picking out a font for a game, at least, that's what I think.
Also, what exactly do you mean by "Japanese looking"? As in a really crazy looking English font that resembles Kana, or just a neatly stylized English font?

Something neatly stylized. Easy to read.
And no, I can't tell you just yet. That'd ruin the surprise.

I'll have to check out the fonts I have when I get home, but I'm sure I got a few fonts that'll fit your needs. :thumbsup:
Also, off the top of my head, Lucidia Blackletter was one of my favorite fonts for a while. It looks really bad if you make it huge, but at 8-10 pt it looks beautiful.
