Topic: Two questions that someone can (hopefully) Answer (Read 887 times)

Why is it that in SMB3 I can put world 7 music into a level and none of the other songs? and if i can then how? And whats up with the levels in world three that have water all the way to the end (the ones where boss bass can jump up and eat you in) that make it so that when free scroll is turned on the water jumps when mario jumps?? It glitches the whole game and when another bass comes in (If you happen to be standing higher up or jump) he glitches into the air and swims around up there! Is there some way i can remove this because i like to use free scroll on mostly all of my levels. Thanks!

Okay... Now. Look up from that small, tight, probably unpleasantly scented crevice you are probably calling a hat, and look directly to the left of the forum on most settings. You'll notice near the top is a section referred to as "main". Under main there is Documents and Utilities. In both sections, there is a game selection drop list. These lists contain many, many, many games. Among them is undoubtedly Super Mario Brother's 3. There will be probably two, three or more different objects for said game. Look through said objects and you'll undoubtedly find your answer.

People, stop fighting, jeez...
prinnyhere, please DO look into our documents section. Usually people are a lot more friendly around here, when you can actually refer to something, like "I read doc so-and-so and I didn't get what it was talking about on lines x to y about sprites. Can somebody help me please?" Also, stating the game and your intentions BEFORE stating the problem would help. Also don't use crazypeople punctuation, it's not healthy for none of us. Thanks.
And Griff, if you won't stop using that silly size-tag, I swear, I'll make a community vote on prohibiting YOU from using it. Yes, only YOU. Goddammit, Fonts were not meant to be size 1!!

Sorry Griff, i already have ALL of those.. except dicombobulator.. And i looked at the docs section and saw NOTHING on smb3 only on smb1. And i did state the game to. SMB3, right in my first post. OR did you maybe mean in the threat subject. if so then sorry. My questions still stand though, anyone think they can answer them? or show me to a document that will help me, there isn't too much in the smb3 workshop readme or help file.

We've gotta use that word around here more often. Maybe the mods should have a dunce button next to everyone, and there would be a site dunce. [ie. whoever says/asks the dumbest stuff] No offense to this guy in particular, just an idea.  |

I appologize for being rude. I had a piss day at work, so I appologize for being a jerk to Hero, and I also appologize for using size 4 text. Though I can't think of another time I did.
Um, as for your actual question, I am not a SMB3 hacker. In fact, most of my hacking is either basic universal kinds of things, or Final Fantasy. I know next to nothing else. And I don't know of many people who have played around with the music, though I could be wrong.
My suggestion would be to go look on Google and just type in SMB3 music hacking.

Like where it says "Global Moderator" for MegaManJuno and the like, it would be "Local Dunce" or something. Of course, that sounds like a hard mod just for the ability to insult people... |
