I recently saw this game showcased on another website.  I had no idea that it had already been released for PC.  http://www.falcom.co.jp/ed6_sc/

It looks pretty nice.  It's published by falcom, so you can expect it to have a very Ys Origin style.  Oh!  I even see that the third installment is due out in a few months!  I hope someone picks this one up  Wink

Edit:  Dangit...  I meant to post this in Gaming Discussion.  My deepest apologies.   Embarrassed

Just so you know Bandai fucked up Tears of Vermillion big time. It's a bad translation and plus it's not even formatted correctly. And also they took out the side quests. Although I did enjoy the story despite the translation. I can't say for the other two though.

Edit:

I: Dragon Slayer: PC Engine, SNES, Genesis
II: Dragon Slayer II: PC Engine, SNES, Genesis
III: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch: PC, PSP
IV: Tears of Vermillion: PC, PSP
V: Song of the Ocean: PC, PSP
VI: Sora no Kiseki FC, SC, TC: PC, PSP(Except TC)

Edit:

Dragon Slayer for the Turbo duo is the first game in the series. The ones for the PSP minus Sora no Kiseki are part of the Garghav? trilogy with Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch being #3, Tears of Vermillion being #4, and Song of the Ocean is #5. Sora no Kiseki is the sixth game in the series. Dragon Slayer 1&2 take place in a seperate universe and so does the Garghav trilogy and so on.

how about listing them like this

game a
game b
game c

that other game thats not related to game a but shares same title
the sequal to that game
and so on.

If you do I would be so greatful! And adding systems games apear on would rock too but is not required thanks to the invention of google.

Pooy this is such a lame 500th post but it had to be posted... Sad

How does the "Dragon Slayer" series connect to LoH?

I know the first 2 are Dragon Slayer: Legend of Heroes 1 and 2, but then LoH goes on, and Dragon Slayer goes on (Legacy of the Wizard is Dragon Slayer 4.)

Dragon Slayer was not originally a LoH game. It became a Loh game when it was remade by Falcom for the PC Engine. I think Legacy of the Wizard was before that. I could be wrong about this though.

There are some other good sites out there, but I'm honestly too lazy to dig those out.
check classicgaming for example.

According to this it's:
Dragon Slayer Series
I: Dragon Slayer
II: Xanadu
III: Romancia
IV: Drasle Family (Legacy of the Wizard)
V: Sorcerian
VI: Legend of Heroes
VII: Lord Monarch
VIII: Legend of Xanadu

Xanadu and other's are also featured on the site, just go back to the index. There are plenty ports, but most games aren't in English of course.
