Ok, im new at this and i was seeing some tuts over the net, but noone is specially for GBA, I have only found for NES, does someone know where to find goos tuts about gba translation from jap to english or spanish, cuz im trying, but i haven´t get any good results.

The game im trying to translate is NARUTO RPG for GBA, I found a topic in this forum before registrating and I read it, it seems to be a complicated rom to translate, so I wanted to ask for good tutorials or someone that can help me via messenger.

Thx to all.

There you go.

From what I understand, translation hacking is somewhat the same as any other kind of hack.
Grab a hex editor and have fun. Tongue

The Getting Started section HAS everything you want to know, maybe you should actually read it, not just fly over the list.

i know how to translate. I just dont get it how to change the font, in the game with the tile editor. Im using a gba game. Which format should I use to see the tiles? cuz in the utility they tell us there, is only for NES GB, GBC and other but not for GBA, so I dont know wheres the letters, I have that HEX 82C2=つ but Im not sure where to find that in the tile editor.

I downloaded fatilety1.2c which has a format for GBA but still I dont know where to find the letter, I already saw all tiles milions of times and I cnt find them.

Tile Layer Pro has a GBA mode, open the ROM with that and look through the entire file until you find the font.

Use the space to the right in Tile Layer Pro to put them together...

Get Tile Molester (must have Java installed). Load your rom up, change the codec, go to the place in the rom where the font is, then press these buttons to shift the bits until the font is in the correct position:
