Hi. I'm the newest member, Lloyd & Linus. I came here to learn about ROM hacking, since it's something I am very interested in, but know nothing about. So, could somebody tell me how it works?

Thanks. In trying it, I realize that I (For the time being, at least) don't have the time to familiarize myself with hacking. >.< Do you think someone on here would help hacking for this project I'm working on? We're trying to make our own Fire Emblem game. (GBA) |

I think you want a home brew site, not a romhacking site, if you're looking to make your own game from scratch. Our Links page should have some GBA sites like that.  |

I figured that it might be easier to simply modify an existing Fire Emblem game, as opposed to making one from scratch. I'll look for those links, though. |

It probably would be easier to modify an existing game than create a new one, but either way you go, you're looking at investing a fairly good chunk of time.

I know we focus on ROMhacking, but our site has morphed into a pretty useful home brew site too in some ways. We do have a wealth of hardware information and quite a few people on this board can do some home brew programming. |
