If you go to the author's website he has an invisible wall hack for the game also available for download.  What does this patch do?  I am hoping that it makes the invisible walls visible, so anyone know??

From the readme:

Quote
This patch makes the walls in the Playstation game King's Field (Japan) see through,
thus answering the age old question . . .
is Wilfred Light wearing pants behind that counter?

So I guess it makes all walls transparent.

thanks, ya sorry I didn't think of reading the read me, cuz I haven't downloaded all the stuff yet.  Can you show me a link that shows how to patch ps1 games?  I know how to do it for snes, nes etc. already.  I'm sure there's a guide somewhere around here, i couldn't find one though.

I imagine you just have to apply the patch to either the BIN or the ISO, but I'm not really sure. I don't think we have anything like that in the FAQ. weissulf (I spelled that wrong, I'm sure, sorry Sad) posts here occasionally so hopefully he can help. Smiley

Depends on the format of the file. Is it an IPS patch (.ips extension) or is it something else? If it's not an IPS patch, you'll need to grab a compatible patcher from our Utilities section. I haven't looked at the patch, so I'm not sure of the format. NINJA should handle it, whatever format it may be though. Smiley

I think most psx translations are .ppf format.  There should be something on this site for those.

Remember that both ePSXe and pSX can patch PPF files on the fly, although they're a bit tricky. ePSXe needs the PPF file renamed to the ID code of the game you want to patch, and pSX needs the PPF file passed in the commandline

I see we have the translation but not the invisable walls hack, why not upload the hack to our website?
