Well I just don't get pointers I have some documents on them download but it all seems so complex,
And I was wondering where would be a good place to start or what nes game would be best for learning pointers.

The Mad Hacker's Guide to Pointers (http://www.romhacking.net/docs/point11.doc), while very old, is the easiest  one I know of to follow.

While it doesn't really go into the technical aspects of why any given game's pointers work the way they do, the examples and methods in the document are simple and useful, and should work with the large bulk of NES games you'll deal with.

Pointers are easier to work with on GB and SNES. And they're no-brainers on GBA.

I will give it a try, well and I should of said witch nes game I was having trouble with it's Zelda 1.
I do won't to learn pointer's in general not just for Zelda.
I might try gameboy if it's easier to learn.
