Alright, as it is I am pretty new at hacking games and stufff but I am really into learning about it. I'm not just some unmotivated guy or anything, it really intrigues me and you guys are really great to translate all these games and everything. It is pretty awesome to read about news and projects on this site, and its just GREAT.

Anyways, the point of this topic is this: I found this picture recently on some site, that i cannot remember where. basically, its a translated screenshot of Rockman Complete Works

I guess RIP Translations was working on it or something, but I cant find any information on it besides that image. I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere or anything pertaining to it. I am also interested in working on this eventually when I get better with my japanese and hacking skills. Thanks alot in advance.

I'm just wondering if thier is anything different in Rockman Complete works (I think it's on the PS1) versus Megaman Anniversery Collection (Xbox/PS2/GC)

Was it better in some way?

It was better in many ways. Complete works not only were basicly perfect ports(Same CAN NOT be said for ac) but they also had alot of little info and tidbits about said games. But really I just suggest playing the orignals emulated and researching on the web for said info rather then going to the trouble of translating and hacking this.

Actually, in MM4-6 you have the option of getting weapon upgrades and such like MM8, I've never played any of them so I don't know exactly how the system works, there's some information here.

Edit: Okay, I got Rockman 5 Complete Works, the "Navi Mode" is much better than the Anniversary Collection's, the subscreen has been redesigned, you can get upgrades as I said (Right now I have Autocharge and High Jump), view a map from the menu (Honestly I forget if MMAC had this or not), play as helmetless Rockman (Pointless and it looks terrible), the font is actually readable when you hit select for advice and the portrait is animated. I haven't played normal mode yet, other features are a list of enemies defeated and an art gallery.

I have no clue why the stripped them of half their content for MMAC, it doesn't make any sense to remove any of that, it can't take up that much room on the disc... By the way, I can get screenshots if people want to see some of the stuff I was talking about.

You can also change the button configuration in the games. Helpful because you can assign turbo fire to the regular attack button.

You can also use the Pocketstation (In MM4-5 anyway) to power up yourself and the bosses.
