So, there's this GBA game I'm hacking, which I'm not going to say anything about now because I don't want anyone to steal my project. Anyway, to the point, the game has an assload of uncompressed text that can be easily reinserted, but the problem is, is that the whole ROM weighs a wopping 32 MB, and my hex editor always freezes when trying to load it. So how would I go about hacking a rom of this size?

With Translhextion You can specify how much of the file you want to open.

Actually, looks like the whole Translhextation thing isn't going to work. Is there no hex editor out there that'll just let me edit 32 megabytes without freezing? It would be a lot easier if I could just search the text, and dump where I want to dump. The whole "opening a portion of the game" thing, isn't working for me(Oh, it works, but it's not helping me dump the text). Who knew uncompressed text could be so much to deal with.

Use a script dumper like Romjuice to get the text out of the rom.
Translhextion's script dump window is quite broken. Trust me. ;_;

Would use that, but there's no Windows support.

I use Hex Workshop.
It isn't free but it can load large files.

... Then how the hell do I use it in WINDOWS XP?! Just because it's a COMMAND LINE PROGRAM does not mean it's not a Windows program. Jeez. I've been using Romjuice for years. IT WORKS.

I think what he's trying to say is that there is no WINDOWS support. It's only run in MS-DOS, and he wants a convenient program that has a more user-friendly interface.

Actually, what he's saying is that he doesn't know how to use the standard console built into every windows operating system, and that he doesn't know the difference between DOS-only programs and console applications. If he has any hope of doing any real romhacking, this is a distinction that absolutely needs to be learned.

I am surprised that Bongo's great Windhex isn't in the utilities section, it is by all means the best hex editor for rom hacking I've ever used.

Let's put it this way, basically, Windows made applications are easier to use. Point is, I'm just not a DOS guy, and don't care to use a DOS program if there's a windows program that does the exact same thing.

Tried searching for windhex in the utility menu? And to squiggly lines for a name: I can't stand many command prompt utilities either. That's why God (or Bill Gates) invented batch files. :p
