Although this is going to sound totally cheesy and pointless, what do you guys think about...
Kirby in Ocarina of Time!Yes, Kirby. Kirby will done a hat and sword and play the role of our silent protagonist.  It shouldn't be too hard, considering that all of the Kirby models are already available from games like Super Smash Bros. and Kirby 64. However, I'm not sure if there are any particularly good tools for N64 graphics hacking. |

Kirby rocks!!! He use to be my avatar, but I switched to the more subtle reference of dreamland and the shell from Kirby superstar (With SMW colors) to show my appreciation of Kirby. Ganondorf can also be replaced with King Dedede  . |

You mean Hyrule, but now you gave me another idea! Although I already did it with Link --> Pikachu. I would submit, but it's a graphics only hack. And it was meant for my sister. Might post it here, though. |

If Kirby kept all his Kirby-riffic powers that would be awesome. Inhaling the enemies of Hyrule to gain their abilities would be pretty freaking sweet methinks. Of course, that would be one HELL of a bitch (read: near-impossible) hack to manage--even for the best among us--but still. It would be awesome. Hey, a guy can dream, can't he? |

No, I mean Koholint. Kirby (as far as the canon games go, SSBM doesn't really count) has never been to Hyrule. He is, on the other hand, on Koholint. He lives in the Eagle's Tower there. By changing the storyline of your hack, you could establish how the little puffball ended up on the island. |

Note, also, that the Japanese title, "Zelda no Densetsu- Dreaming Island", is even more relevant to the subject. Which of course makes it all the more interesting. How did Kirby end up in Link's dream? And why does he hate Link so much? All these questions could make for quite a game, if someone had the talent, time and inclination to create one. |

You're right- I overlooked that Kirby appears in the Eagle Tower in Link's Awakening! But I thought you meant that OoT's world was called Koholint, which is why I said that. I didn't know you were talking about Kirby's actual in-game appearance! Hey, grindill, after I'm through making my Master Quest Link to the Past hack, I'm gonna change LA's Link to Kirby, LoZ's Link to Kirby and LTTP's Link to Kirby! I might start with LoZ since it's the Zelda with the least Link sprites... >_> |
