Hey, I've decided to do a small NES hack that mainly consists of graphical edits. The problem is, these graphics are fairly large, and it's hard to fully discern what order they go in by the tiles. I've heard there are programs that make them easier to work with than TLP or similar editors, could you please recommend me one that will run on WinXP? I'd tell you what game I'm working with, but I'm not sure if I want my name associated with it, haha.
Doesn't Tile Molester have a feature that can help with this? I forgot what it was called, & I can't quite explain it, & I think I forgot how it works.
YY-CHR has a pull down menu which lets you change the order of the tiles so they resemble normal sprites. This is useful with title screens and such. ;P
