I'll see your necrobump and raise you an inquiry.  What GB/GBC/GBA emulators have debuggers?

bgb for GB/GBC and no$gba for GBA.

No$GMB for GB/C is much nicer to handle than BGB, as it follows jumps and stuff with a press a button and can have different locations in asm view and memory view. Also, breakpoints can be set via ctrl + b. It has some emulation flaws (timing issues) and the music is always at 100% no matter what you put in the config.

For gba, sometimes vba-h is helpful Cheesy

It's the only alternative if you can't get no$GBA ... which is an issue since there is currently no way to get the tool. The author just vanished several months ago (it's over half a year now) and since you have to pay for the tool and he'll send it to you personally then... chances aren't looking to good. If he stays vanished for a lot longer I have actually considered giving out my private copy of no$GBA to people, registration be damned. The tool is too valuable and important for GBA and DS hacking to be lost forever due to a vanished author. I really hope he'll resurface on his own though.

Surprising, since it sounds like emulator development is his primary job. Shocked
