Been trying to get this game to work, but every file I download is different than the last.

Finally found one on fantasyanime that is pre-patched, but like the others I've found, all the mp3 files are set aside from the .cue and .bin

With the other PC Engine ISOs I have, there's only 2 files, .bin and .cue

What do I do with the music, and why can't I get Ys 4 to mount? What am I doing wrong?

Wrong board, this has nothing to do with rom hacking.

There can't be bin/cue/mp3. It's either iso/cue/mp3 or bin/cue. You can't mount it because you can't mount MP3 files. You have to convert them to wav.

I see. Thanks...

Guess I'll just have to keep downloading 50 different versions hoping to find one already done.

You could change them manually in an audio editor like Audacity or similar, then burn them.

There can't be bin/cue/mp3. It's either iso/cue/mp3 or bin/cue.

Sure there can, you can mix raw or mode 2 form 2 tracks or mode 2 mixed tracks, or non-ISO9660 mode 1/mode 2 form 1 tracks, with audio tracks encoded in a higher-level music format.  It's erroneous to assume that CUE/BIN refers only to a single CUE file coupled with a single data file.  Though this is really getting into more poorly-defined semantics...
