i was hoping someone here could help me with this.  i patched the ff1 rom and it looks darker than the videos on youtube.  anybody else get this?  thanks!

I replied to him/her in a PM, but figure maybe other people would find what I said useful...

I hacked the color emphasis for everything but the overworld so as to make things darker. If the videos watched were made with a less accurate emulator that doesn't emulate PPU emphasis properly, it would look quite a bit brighter.

It may also be that the custom palette (NEStopia's) that I included with the patch isn't being used. All the DXOII videos I myself did use it.
