Pretty cool stuff. It was always strange that the GBA Pokemon games never had this feature to begin with when the GB/C ones did. I won't give it a shot, but I'm sure there will be someone out there who will want to play Pokemon Emerald like this.

Why'd they bother putting a clock in Ruby/Sapphire again?
For the berries?

(seriously, I played it a little while ago, and shortly into the game I forget the game even had a RTC.)

Yeah, it was for the berries and I think some other timed events, like super market sales and stuff.

Eevee can evolve based on time though.

Plus it uses the time counting for in-game events.

Anyhow, I approve of this hack. Where can we get it? :<

This could be good. Last I recall ruby and sapphire had a clock fix patch for years, then nobody bothered with emerald. Isn't clock necessary to get the shoal salt or whatever it was?

all the games have a clock ingame its just the markers never implanted day or night berrys run on the clock and so does evolving some pokemon like wurmple (there is also a debate that wurmple evolves due to personaility...)

on other news i am doing pokemon shiny updates and im adding all 3 regions im also debating on doing a pokemon game where you dont find pokemon in the grass u find them running around what do you think?

You mean the bug in the original game? I think that's because Nintendo didn't notice it until a year after the Japanese version released (which is probably like half a year after the other versions). Plenty of time for them to fix it in Emerald.

Well I thought there was a fan patch to make the clock run on emulators lacking rtc. Maybe I'm wrong. Undecided\
