Hey there, I have decided to shrine this game since there isn't much about the game itself unless you do some extensive searching... I would like to know if there is anyone out there that may want to help with contributing to this shrine. The basic idea here is to combine all info on the game possible and put it all in one spot. Also, I think the game is worth it since it's one of the best hacks I have seen for the NES. You can take a look at the shrine in progress at this site: https://sites.google.com/site/dragoonxomegaiishrine/home

You can see there is quite a bit of work to go... Basically, I will write a walkthrough but I would like to get a world map for the game and dungeon maps in general. Any secrets I may have left out as well would be useful. If anyone is interested please respond. I'd like to get the ball rolling on this!

You may not have noticed them, but in the patch's archive there's a subfolder called "Lore" containing a lot of information. I've put it online here.

I'm in the process of doing this, but it'll take me a bit to get it done (It's tedious).

Silver that is impressive that you are able to envision the scene in such fine detail.  I noticed that the spacing of the buildings is uneven, even non-symmetric. The gravel looks real as well, as though it has been worn and scattered over time.

What is your technique for placing the tiles randomly without being erratic about it? Or is the scene in your head really that detailed? Is there a reason that the stone is worn as it is in the places it is in?

Thaddeus did 99.9% of the graphics and level design: He's an amazing artist.

Beautiful. I have got to say I am pretty impressed with the game. If you don't mind I would like to add this to the shrine. As I stated, my goal is essentially to get all information about the game in one spot so people that want to play the game or simply want to know about it can find everything they need to there. Also, I don't know many other places that have truly created a shrine to a rom hack. Makes it somewhat unique, I suppose.

If I may put a pointer out, I like the way the shrine looks but you might wanna put a lot of *SPOILER* tags up. If I never played the game before and I saw "Nuclear Plant" without knowing what it was, clicked on it, and then saw all the spoilers about the sidequests I'd be pissed. Though it's obviously a WIP :p

Looks like the opposite for the walkthrough though. Spoiler free right on Smiley

Heck a lot of the game was spoiled for me just trying to figure out what to do at certain points. You might wanna take certain boss names *cough* and replace them with "?" or something. Or also write a spoiler free guide. This way people looking for ways to complete the game if they're stuck don't have to view all the extras and bosses in their attempt to find out what to do next.

I don't know how much this will help, but I have a bucketload of savestates throughout the game for FCEUX. Would be useful for getting pictures up and whathaveyou. Let me know.

I'm fairly certain at this point Silver X & Thaddeus are in fact actually members of the A team, and on a mission to revive the NES for their own personal needs.... And fyi I am perfectly ok with that.

Ah, well that explains it. Wink And he did the level design, too. That's very interesting.

Fan shrines are always cool.  Always liked 'em.  Like this one too, yup.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention ^_^
