Hello, I have a question...
I have always heard that expanding space in a NES game is a total nightmare to do, if not impossible. More importantly though, I would like to expand the space in Rockman 2 to allow for more levels/graphics/data and code. I don't know how to go about expanding the rom, but I was wondering - since Rockman 3,4,5,6 use almost the exact same game engine, how hard would it be to drop Rockman 2's code into Rockman 4's rom and end up with an extra 256kb of free space?
Is this an awesome idea or what?

Ok I looked into it.
Well at least it can be done!
Freaking mappers, how hard is it to make your own mapper, or modify an existing one?

I mean, modification. Making one would be crazy. Though a totally awesome idea.
I'm not even wondering about Rockman 2 anymore, crazy easy to swap it into MMC3-4-5 or whatever.
