Have anyone took a look at this title? I will give it a try if I can get JPCSP to work ok with it , and I want to avoid to prevent duplicating efforts. Also, it will be nice if someone can confirm if it have any text changes since the Saturn/Dreamacst versions to consider using translations already available on the net.

If the first game has the same files as PC version (i.e. not compressed or using different formats) I can already tell you that the text is stored in MACRO folder in *TBL.bin files. Use standard SJIS table with them. Each file has a corresponding one, which probably stores the pointers (I haven't figured it out). As for graphics, here's a link explaining(?) Yeah, it is. The .bin and tbl.bin files are packed in PSF files with header PAKFILE, I'm trying to know how that container exactly works, but probably PSP and PC versions have many similitudes, so I will try to look at the PC version too.

did anybody even tried making a full translation patch for the PC versions of these games

OK, taking a look at the PC version, efectively text is just SJIS, now trying to figure what the non text info on the files is .
