Hello. I've been using a hex editor for a while, but I tried to use it on FFTA. It seems even when reletive searching and creating a table file, the game is unhackable. My site is working on it: fftahackplace.tk: But we cant do anything with that game. However, we easily edit the graphics in the game. I tried making connections with the hex program and TLP. Still, nothing. If anyone has any info, I am deperate. By the way I have read over the data crystal page, but still couldnt do anything! Its making me mad.

  • Download Monkey-Moore
  • Load the rom in Monkey-Moore
  • Type A*f*t*e*r*w*a*r*d*s in the search box. This is a word that appears in the first scene of the game (script)
  • Check "Enable Wildcards" and type * in the wildcard box
  • Click the magnifying glass icon
  • Click on the only result
  • Push the "Create Table" button

You now have a table for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

Are you using a Japanese rom or something? I was able to build a table for both the U and E roms with the steps I posted.

No, Its american. I got it to work, some guy on zophars told me to edit the .rar file, but I tried it without and it worked. My only question is. I have the table file, open it in windhex. It has nothing. No text. Im not sure how to locate the txt? Thanks again though!

Uh, ROMs aren't supposed to be .rar files. In this case, it should be a .gba file.

Thanks, it works as a gba file, I did it wrong the whole time. But when i create a table with the words "afterwards" it doesnt show any text. Do I need to go deeper into the rom?

please help!
