how do i know the hack worked? I did the IPS thing and got no kind of screen or text upon starting the game that anything was different, i did not play test yet just wondering if the Elnard patch lets you know anything different.
nevermind, it says IPS at the bottom but weird, the stats seem the same

You're talking about the one on this site titled "Easier 7th Saga", right? The differences aren't too great at the start, but they become a lot more significant later on, especially in the characters' stat growths.

Yeah im flying through the game compared to when i played it as a kid and remembered being terrified of traveling to new areas since the monsters were ruthless.
Elnard or like you said "easier 7th saga" is actually the stock japanese difficulty.
