I never played this hack, but I like how it sounds... Instead of working on a sequel to NHMFTDN on the older platforms, why not hack Super Mario RPG or Super Mario 64?
If you're going to make a sequel, you need to take us deeper into your world and show us the twisted beauty of your creations.
What is the story of NHMFTDN? Who are the characters? Why is Mario naked and headless, who are the Dick Nazis, and why is he fighting them?
MOAR.
Well, my suggestion would be to fill yourself in on the story so far, it's ripe with plotholes, but you can get the jist of it if you pay enough attention. you can get the NHMFTDN 1 hack at badhacks and the NHMFTDN2 hack at zophar. Or just can just google NHMFTDN2, I figure thats an easiest way to find the hacks. personally, I don't think there will ever be a hack of either of those games. I'm not experienced enough with N64 yet to hack it, so we wont see NHM64 anytime soon. furthermore, I will never hack Super Mario RPG because honestly, I don't really like RPGs that much, so it would be very boring for me to make.

I think it would be awesome if you could - Put clothes on Mario
- Give Mario a head (you'll need to be creative to work this into the story; maybe you could have Mario eat a special mushroom with head-regeneration effects)
- Try not involve immature stuff like penises, etc. in the game
- Do something to make it actually worth playing

I honestly don't think you'll find the answers here. I'm sure there are other places that would give you better ideas.
The best advice I can give you though is that make sure you don't have spites that look like garbage. I'm sure you have "ideas", but there are ideas that can be poorly executed. I'm sure it's entertainment for you, but sometimes ugly really is ugly, regardless of the theme. I'm not saying anything against your theme, but you have to do a decent job at it and I've seen tons of crappy hacks. I've criticized an FF6 hack (I love playing those at times) for being buggy or untested/not properly tested. Those are the kinds of pitfalls you may face, regardless of what you may feel is fun/entertaining.
I'm serious when I say you should not do a half-assed job of a hack.

Excellent work lurking around our boards. Do you want a fucking medal? I must admit that I am not even interested in finding out what exactly a „fucking medal“ is, I prefer women with the same ability, instead of medals. You can keep this kind of your private toys wholly to yourself.

Excellent work lurking around our boards. Do you want a fucking medal? Not that I agree with people quoting us from outside the forum but to be honest, I think HaxorKyo is really trying to say that many people at RHDN are stiff and humorless, and that these people will also be the ones to blatantly dismiss anyone they think is immature in their eyes. Not saying that this Naked Headless Mario hack is anything I'd like to play though, or even agree that it should be done (from the title, I'm already expecting an abomination), but people's hard work is still hard work no matter the theme.

Couldn't have said it better myself. If I post a thread here looking for a second opinion, I should hope that you guys will reply without talking crap. I would never deride somebody over their design choices. Go ahead, make a Mario hack and remove his ability to jump. An asinine concept, but I have no right to flame you over it. So if somebody starts a thread about some asinine hack, keep the rude comments to yourself. Okay?

On the other hand, why would anyone release a no-jumping hack? I don't see any problems with making one, but at the end of the day it'd only be useful for education. If I tried to release that sort of hack, people would think I was silly for doing that. Same issue here; there's nothing wrong with making the hack even though it's immature, but you're being judged because you don't seem to realise that. Or rather, you do and you're just being immature. I would never deride somebody over their design choices. Even if those design choices involve a naked headless Mario running around killing naked Nazis? That's like saying there's nothing wrong with that E.T. game even though the gameplay sucked. You should rethink that statement. So if somebody starts a thread about some asinine hack, keep the rude comments to yourself. Okay?
So that gives you the right to cause disruption as you have by posting threads like this? All you're doing is acting like a child. I don't know the history behind this, and frankly I don't care; if you wanted respect from us, you should've acted maturely from the beginning. Trolling because you don't like RHDN and want to pass us off as a bunch of morons isn't going to help.

People are free to do whatever they want to. When I'm not interested in something that's being discussed here, I simply ignore it.
Even the simplest/silliest hack involves work and research and this is what should matter: this is a romhacking site. If RHDN doesn't want to host said hacks, it's a completely different issue.

Hej Rocket Science, I totally agree with You, but I think every word here is futile. There will always be people like this modern day Colley Ciber, who will refuse to understand, why they get so much negative feedback. If a person goes for example to a forum about Shakespeare and proclaims that he/she has rewritten King Lear into King F*** D*** A** Lear and is now asking for ideas how to butcher A Midsummer Night's Dream next, this person is likely to generate a lot of negative reaction. Even if this person then reveals his/her intentions as having been to create a “social experimentâ€, this person fails to see he/she is nothing else than a troll. This is not a social experiment. I can take a red blanket into a room where a bull is waiting for me and prove that this bull does not like red blankets. WOW. Really, I have achieved something outstanding, what a great experiment. HaxorKyo knew from the start how people on here would react, so his “experiment†is useless and he even declared on the badhacks board that generating this negative reaction was his intention, ergo he is just a troll (and btw this is not the first topic of this kind he has created and sb_iq follows right in his footsteps).
And take Garoth Moulinskis post for example, where he declares that relative concepts have suddenly become absolute. As long as posts like this appear in defence of such behaviour, your words are really wasted. (After that post a part of me is even waiting for someone to finally show up and start his defence-post with: “But the bible says...â€)

Agreed. I think seeing as how we've at least established that this thread was pointless trolling, there's no problem with locking the thread as it is. Right now the discussion isn't going anywhere, and that won't change no matter what.
