ok i sawon a few other sites that people can change textures in psx games. the most noticable was a hack for smackdown 2 where they changed all the wrestlers textures to old school guys.

so i was wondering how can i change textures in a twisted metal game for the psx?

i'll look at it now.

edit: that method didnt help me to open raw files, dat, or pac files. which are the ones i have now.
so is there another method or am i just missing something?

Try dicking around with different settings in Tile Molester. Yes, that means brute force.

It is also possible that the textures are compressed. Sorry.

I would figure that it's different in some manner and either easier or harder than SNES textures. There's probably a different mindset/methodology you'd have to use while working on it as well. Don't quote me on this.
