I am very new to the rom scene and managed to get a copy of my favorite game, Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time. I have had great success with Zelda Actor Placement (ZAP2) and Zelda Level Edit (ZLE2), however Utility of Time proves beyond me for actors and objects (just pulls up blank screens). That being said, my question is this:I am looking to edit the weapons that link uses (icons, stats and the like) and also where they are placed. I have searched here and google but have come up empty handed. Is it even possible and, if so, which tools should I be using? Thank you in advance.

You need to extract the files from the ROM with ZRE or GZRT and edit them using UoT. UoT doesn't open roms.. It'll be easier to edit files extracted from the Debug ROM, since it's file table has filenames. Even then, it's hard to tell which is which without something helping you.

Or am I telling you something you already know. In that case, don't forget to pull up an entry point with non maps, lol.
