Yes, an NES IDE is a really cool idea. It was also pretty interesting that it can be used for ROMhacking, though I'm not really understanding how. Can anybody who downloaded it comment? I can't download it where I am presently.

I just checked it out. You can load an NES ROM in it and look at the source, add new music, and add palettes.
That's about all you can do with a commercial NES ROM loaded. But for making NES games, it's top notch.

I just played around with the emulator. Apparently, only a few mappers are supported right now. I tried a few games, and nothing happened.

You can open roms and edit them. :thumbsup: He is working on supporting more mappers (And of course he welcomes any help/ideas) . Any decision about adding this tool yet?

Unfortunately, as mentioned in my first post, being that it it a combination of tools I don't know where it would go. I guess the most generic category it would fit is assembly tools?
