I'm looking for a program that allows me to change the available Pokémon and a program to change the Pokémon shown on the title screen.

If you know where to find one, post here please.

Sorry, but in the list of hack tools you gave me, there is not a tool to change the locations of Pokémon.

Maybe I am missing something? Or you could tell me where to get that?

Truthfully the best resource for Pokemon hacks/tools is this board:

http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?s=65171c0fa892ddfd64c767ac438197c7&f=37

You may want to try there.

I know, but I registered to this forum but don't remember the password I used and the account isn't activated so I can't recover it by e-mail...

Whatever, I discovered that Pokemap allows to change AND maps AND warp points AND events AND wild Pokémon (But for some places you can't, like Route 23, Cinnabar Mansion, Seafoam Island, Indigo Plateau, etc.)

I just wanted to thank this thread for indirectly helping me out! :cookie:

I haven't been able to access pokecommunity for ages now, even after changing to a different Windows version. Turns out I need to use the site's IP addess to reach it. Which is strange. Guess I'll use my hosts file to redirect the URL to that IP...

BTW. The other page linked to says internet server error.

I 'd.

Someone should really make a hack that rips the encounters and other changes from the Japanese Blue Version, the graphics and maps from the Japanese Red/Green Version, the SGB border and palette from the Green Version, and release that as a US/EU Green Version. I'd do it myself except I can't stand these games anymore, they're just too tedious for me, constant level grinding with little reward.

Stupid question: do you have anything better than Advance-Text that works with Leaf Green in there? :p

Advance text is the best program you will get, It auto-Repoints and makes searching easier... (Been forever since I hacked pokemon)

I don't see how you could get better. The only odd thing I could see is if you were too lazy to search for your own text. >_>

The only reason I ask is cos Advance Text doesn't handle Pokémon, moves, battle text, and items, just dialogue, and as such is terribly incomplete.

[My intention is to make the RANDOM CAPITALIZATION and
pointless newlines go away.]

Erm, I could of sworn it could do those if "Special-text" or whatever it was was selected.
