Wait a few weeks, I'm sure some Chinese bootlegger is already at work on it. :p

Was really suprising to me to find the tiles and sprites were stored in the same format as GBA..

Well, GBA was the simplest system that IntiCreates was involved in. from that point of view I think it makes sense. And thank you for your work on that! =)

I guess we have to go patrolling Baidu blogs from here out.  It took them 10 yrs to get around to FF7, so I won't hold my breath.
This is going to require the work of a team with a plan.  Until I see something like that happening, I'm not taking bets that this is ever going to happen.  It's worth happening.  It's gonna need people who know both Wii and NES hacking to make a decent product.
Wii is a whole other culture to me.  I'm curious to what faculties are available for Wii hacking.  I read that Datel is releasing new homebrew tools, which should blow "the scene" wide open.

Good work, Sprites Inc, and all involved in spriting!

Is MM9 a single file?  How large??

There's been some talk about this some time ago in a couple post in an MM9 Rip Thread at board2.

An interesting read, SerenadeDS.  I wonder if we could track down those Japanese hackers and see what they're up to...They may be well ahead in this already...

A near perfect graphical clone with awful controls? I think I'll pass. Wink

Maybe I'll do it myself after MMPD is done.

I think it seems pretty inevitable that someone around here will attempt a Megaman 9.

I just found this in Acmlm's seemingly endless directory of amazing shit. Seems to be doing something Megaman 9. Whatever this guy is smoking I want it.

He's had Mega Man 9 music up on YouTube for a while now displaying his sound system. Tornado Man's theme is something that's been on youtube for a while.

Here's the video: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=rR4FQimSCKA

"t's not 100% accurate, but I'd say it's close enough ... this was done by recording the trailer, listening to it many times, etc., so a few things had to be guessed."

Haha... crazy mofo. It's sounds pretty much the same. I think I should have noticed that the Tornado Man was done well before the game even came out, but recently it looks like he added the other 3 tracks.
