Simply put, I am making a new version of SMB, and I need a 2bpp text routine to use, Just for extra graphics for my hack,
It can be also be useful for some of my other hacks.

Then write one. Or actually bother yourself enough to learn a bit to where you could ask for help with the aspects you don't understand.
You never change, do you?

Yeah I'm a bit confused to. Are you posting just to make a statement? Are you asking or demanding?

Oh, it's pretty bad when you look at his post history. 80% of it is demanding things. This is the reason I despise and ridicule him so much, because as Disch said he does this shit on NESDev (And others) as well.

As a matter of decorum, can we please keep the bashing to a minimum. Please remember the thumper rule: If you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all.
There is a small technical discussion to be had here, if someone cares to reply in that manner. Lets keep it civil, shall we?

That's the difference between me, and most other such people. I admit my projects have flaws. In addition to not pretending defunct ones are still active. Most of the hack ideas I've mentioned or translations I suggested, would be possible. Not outlandish or insane to attempt. Being semi-retired at romhacking is fun. Super Mario World is still officially in progress, not that I get around to working on it these days...

Let's avoid making posts that are irrelevant to the topic at hand.

I understand your position. But let's be frank here. I don't hate Hamtaro126 or despise him or anything, but he never demonstrates any technical ability of his own, and is always demanding work from others. How could the other people in this thread not be irritated by this? He's been told multiple times in multiple places that his "demanding" style is not appreciated but he still does it. Furthermore, the premise of the thread is extremely vague: "I'm making a new version of SMB" What does this even mean? A rom hack? A homebrew? What does a 2bpp text routine have to do with extra graphics? It doesn't make any sense, and he leaves us to pick up the pieces. Again, I understand that you as a mod don't want this to degenerate into flaming, but this person has a persistent pattern of asking questions that are outlandish and that gives little detail to go on anyway. Maybe if he showed some of his own ability and understanding we'd be a bit more tolerant of this, but that is not the case.

So I may assist you with advice on how to proceed, would you please enlighten us on one fact? What does a 2bpp text routine have to do with extra graphics? If you could explain your intention it would make it easier for us to answer.
Or, if you'd just rather lurk and see if someone else does something.

I am just asking, I actually meant 1bpp, I think I do not need one. So scratch that till it's ported to SNES.
Or better yet, I need a Z80 coder to help (or assist) me to port SMB1 to Sega Master System (and/or Super/GameBoy). I am only going to go to a GB forum for now to say that.
Unless there is anyone experienced with GB/Z80 and worth the time to assist with coding ASM and **Music. I am not going to do anymore of that here.
**: I have a music utility (Not by Me) that I can provide if anyone assists me.
Sorry for being off topic, But IDA Pro is impossible to buy, I know SMBDX exists. But This is the most important stuff that is good for any portable Z80 device.

Wait wait... I thought you were doing this for an NES hack (since your original post didn't specify, I had just assumed it was for an SMB1 hack). But now you're talking about 3 other completely different systems. Which system are you actually targetting? NES? SNES? SMS? SGB? Are you going to be rewriting the game from scratch? Or are you going to be hacking SMBDX? What exactly do you need help with (specifically, assuming someone here is willing to help, what exactly would they have to do?) By "assist" do you mean "do all the work for me"? Or are you planning on splitting the workload? (I'm assuming the workload consists of rewriting the original NES routines into equivilent GB/SNES/SMS routines) If you're splitting the workload, how much have you gotten done already? Sorry for being off topic, But IDA Pro is impossible to buy, I know SMBDX exists. But This is the most important stuff that is good for any portable Z80 device.
Just because two systems use a similar processor doesn't mean they're the same. I don't know if you're making that assumption or not... but I'm pretty certain that GB and SMS hardware are way different and just because they both use a form of z80 doesn't mean it'll be easy to port to both of them at the same time. EDIT -- doh! just now saw the edited subject line. Still... which system? SMS or GB? They're both very different.

Gameboy, I can make the Palettes, the text, the status bar text+GFX, the game GFX, the title with copyright info, BG maps using YY-CHR, GBTD, GBME. The Sprites, Sprite Maps, Music, and ASM (excluding GBTD and GBME BG generated ASM) will be done b assistance So it is approximately 50/50. Starting the maps tomorrow. When I wake up,
