so i patched metroid genocide and was wondering if it was supposed to look like this:

are the lines supposed to be on metroid like that?  and when you run its really wierd too, looks like a graphics bug.  did they do that on purpose?

Probably not. And... uh.... that's Samus, not Metroid. Metroids are the things you have to kill >_>.

You probably applied the patch onto a bad rom.

No, that's patched correctly, a list of bytes to change to fix it was posted at Acmlm's but to my knowledge a fixed patch was never released.

The lines are a part of the hack, a glitch that I tried to fix but lost motivation for =P  (the bytes posted were probably at my request tho I never actually saw them)

it's the final little thing i need to fix before it's "complete" complete seeing as everything else has been fixed as well. If anybody knows where the bytes are that need changing, I'll gladly fix it up and re issue it when I get a moment.

As for you Coinheaven: kill yourself and the lines will go away =)

I tried to add a notation about that with the sites edit function and got this message:

Just download the doc (Word or Wordpad should open it), save it as Plain Text (txt), and upload somewhere.

I'll help you this time.
